Eastern Cape Wedding | Linda and Ntsikelelo | Traditional Wedding
This is my first white wedding and traditional wedding in the Eastern Cape and it was an experience of a lifetime.
Not only was this my first traditional wedding, but I also got to make so many new friends in the Eastern Cape Wedding Industry, that I will forever be thankful for. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Salt Video Productions. They are a dynamic group of video and film photographers based in Jeffreys bay. We all stayed in Haga Haga and it was so much fun doing a wedding gig with these guys.
What made this Traditional Eastern Cape Wedding even more magical was, Linda Mali (The Bride) is the editor for a very well Know South African magazine called Bona. Go check it out, its marvellous!!!
Due to the fact that this wedding was in the Eastern Cape and I’m situated in Cape Town, it was a wonderful travel adventure for me. I love local Destination weddings and the travel thereof. I also used to live in the Eastern Cape, so its kind like i’m going home and visit all my friends form church. I used to live in Port Elizabeth.
The Wedding of Linda and Ntsikelelo, was absolutely breathtaking!!! The love they share between each other is very encouraging and so lovely to see. Linda and Ntsikelelo had two weddings, the white wedding and the traditional wedding. This blogpost is about the white wedding. The white wedding venue was held at Miarestate and it was the perfect location for Linda and Ntsikelelo to have gotten married. The hospitality and service of Miarestate was simply world class. Thank you Miarestate for looking after us with so much care and love.
Linda and Ntsikelelo’s Eastern cape Wedding started absolutely perfect, the weather was wonderful and everything went according to plan. With a beautiful outdoor ceremony over looking the Haga Haga mountains, one could not ask for anything to be more perfect.
After the wedding ceremony, the bridal party left to take couple images (Golden Hour) on the estate with gorgeous afternoon, soft, romantic sunset light. What made the couple shoot so delightful was the mountain horses in the background and interaction with the bridal couple. It felt so wild, so, Raw, pure and free while we were shooting. Spectacular!!!!
The evening reception was dashing!!!! with beautiful table decor and pretty flowers. The images speak for themselves and was definitely a highlight for me. This Eastern Cape wedding ended with great speeches, a song Linda sang for Ntsikeleo (Goosebump moment), dancing and delicious food.
The 3 kings (Local Johannesburg band) captured everybody’s heart and soul with their amazing music, dancing and singing the night away. Thank you 3 Kings!!!!
After the wedding of a lifetime, we all left the next day to travel to Tsolo, a little village situated in the Eastern Cape for the Traditional wedding. Please visit my blog frequently to view the blogpost of the traditional wedding.
Linda and Ntsikelelo, thank you for a wonderful wedding, you have blessed me and i’m so in awe of the amazing couple you are.
